Astrology: Magic, Divination and Destiny: A module from the Master’s program from Lampeter University, Wales, UK in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology Liz Greene, Nick Campion and Bernadette Brady This is one of the modules for the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology at Lampeter University Stichting Achernar in Amstelveen, Holland, is proud to present a unique seminar at a very special price. This seminar, which is one of the modules for the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology, is normally held at the University of Lampeter in Wales, England. Stichting Achernar is deeply convinced of the importance of this program, and offers the opportunity to attend one of the modules in Holland. This module is open to everyone! You don’t need to have a university degree, nor is it required to be a student of the Master programme. However, if you wish to enrol in the Masters programme and you are eligible, you can do so. In that case you have to complete a paper after attending the three day intensive. This module is one of six modules required to gain the Masters degree. Delegates who decide to enrol in the Masters programme within a week of the completion of the intensive can have allocated 80% of their conference fee towards their Lampeter University enrolment fee. The MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology (CAA) is taught distance-learning, on-line, and is normally completed in one year full-time or up to five years part-time. There is no residency requirement. Students work from home. There are six modules required for gaining the degree of MA and these modules are taught by Nick Campion, Liz Greene and Bernadette Brady. All three tutors will be in Amstelveen teaching one of the compulsory modules in a three day intensive on Friday 22 May – Sunday 24 May 2009. The intensive also includes a Saturday evening borrel where there is a chance to meet the three tutors on a more informal basis and discuss the different modules and eligibility for enrolling in the masters program. At the borrel there will also be an informal talk by the tutors around the nature of astrology and the aim of the MA.
